A few weeks ago, we made our first venture into downtown DC. We took the nearest metro to our house and got off fairly close to the white house. After seeing the white house, we went across the street and got hot dogs from a street vendor and then walked past the Washington Monument and then down to the Lincoln memorial. After all this walking and heading back to the metro, they kids were DONE!!!! We had a great day!
